Gardening Dome
Gardening is a fun, rewarding, and economical way to stretch your monthly food budget and ensure the safety and great taste of produce for your dinner table. In a gardening dome, or other greenhouse structure, gardening can reap rewards all year long. A dome, or other greenhouse structure, extends your gardening season by reducing exposure to cold temperatures, increasing ambient temperature for your garden plants during the day and night, increasing humidity, and reducing exposure to wind, hail and other weather related damage.
This gardening website is designed to help you get started on your own Garden Dome adventure. The sections below will help you plan your Gardening Dome, or other greenhouse structure, specifically: Which gardening structure is right for you, Heating and venting your greenhouse, Using in ground, raised beds, or container gardening; and What to plant in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
If you have questions about Dome or Greenhouse gardening after perusing this site, feel free to comment and we will get back to you just as soon as possible.

i am planning to place small greenhouse at side of my home over my current garden to prolong my vegetable growing season. live in kc missouri. i assume i need to provide some sort of heat for the gloomy cold days of winter. is a small space heater ok? im looking at a 6 x6 x10 greenhouse

Hello George,
Looking at the average highs and lows for Kansas City, it looks to me like you will not need much supplemental heat in your proposed greenhouse. If you put the right panels on your greenhouse, with some sort of heat sink to retain solar heat, you could get by with passive solar heating. Here in Colorado if the temperature gets into the teens, my triple paned polycarbonate panels and 600 gallon water bladder(heat sink) keep the temperature above freezing. The only time I have trouble is when temperatures get into the below zero range. Even so – with no supplemental heat I still can keep my greenhouse producing root vegetables, like carrots, radishes, chard, spinach and other cold crops. If you are doing more sensitive crops, or if the temperature gets into the negatives, then a space heater will keep things marginally warm enough until temperatures get back to normal. Hope this helps!!

The author of gardendomeguide.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: When you need it, you can’t find it or its not available. Thanks for the info.

The free energy devices have been suppressed by the corporate world, because such devices, would allow people to create their own energy for free, which would ultimately shut down the big energy corporations, because people won’t need to pay anymore for electricity to fill their pockets.

hi fabulous little web-site ya have here
I apply the very same theme on my website yet somehow for whatever nutty factor it appears to stream easier on yours despite the fact that yours contains a little more material. Have you been getting some plugins or widgets which speed it up? Do you think you could share the titles so I might use them in my personal blog so twilight eclipse followers could watch twilight eclipse online trailers and clips quicker I’d be thankful – kudos in advance
